Ramadan is the ninth month of the Islamic calendar, a sacred time for Muslims worldwide, marked by fasting, prayer, and reflection. During this month, Muslims fast from dawn until sunset, which helps cultivate self-discipline and empathy for those who are less fortunate. Iftar is the meal that breaks the fast at sunset. It is a special occasion where families and friends gather to enjoy a meal together, often starting with dates and water, followed by a variety of delicious dishes.

Iftar is not only about food; it’s also a time to strengthen community bonds and share the blessings of Ramadan. We are excited to invite all students to a special Iftar event where everyone, regardless of background, can come together to learn about Ramadan and Iftar.

This event will provide an opportunity to experience the cultural significance of these practices, enjoy a meal, and foster understanding and appreciation among our diverse community. Join us for an evening of fellowship, food, and learning!

All attendees are invited to enjoy a free dinner together, fostering a sense of camaraderie and understanding among different faiths. This event aims to promote cultural awareness and appreciation, making it a meaningful evening for all involved.
