The SU instilled in me the confidence to pursue my ambitions and fostered a sense of curiosity that motivates me to continually set new goals.

The training sessions provided valuable opportunities for me to enhance my adaptability, take initiative, and influence outcomes by employing various strategies. Throughout these sessions—as well as during conferences, meetings, activities, and events—I gained significant insights from colleagues and developed effective skills for connecting with others.

The SU had a profound impact on my life, making others more receptive to my views. I can now share my opinions on national and student issues with confidence.

My experience with the SU has enabled me to confidently identify as a leader. Although I am not currently active within the SU movement, I still continue to develop new ideas for potential campaigns.

These outcomes are the result of the genuine efforts of the SU. The SU spirit will remain with me forever. The SU represents learning, love, inspiration, involvement, contribution, and positive change. It encourages us to be happy in our uniqueness, to speak knowing we are heard, and to feel valued for who we truly are.

The SU, in other words, shows that no matter who you are, you have something to give—and those around you are the key to making a difference. So don’t stand alone, because you are never alone.

I also gave a great deal to both the students and the college by:

  • Addressing student concerns, raising them with teachers, and following up until the issues were resolved.

  • Assisting students who faced difficulties with the college, such as helping expelled students seek a second chance if they showed a willingness to change.

  • Identifying areas for improvement and launching student-led campaigns, such as improving water fountains, expanding free school meal options, creating a multi-faith room, boosting SU election participation, engaging campuses and staff in SU activities, supporting international students, and making use of local facilities.

  • Helping the Student Union reintroduce initiatives into the annual calendar, such as the talent show and the football tournament.
