We’ll get you off the couch and running 5k in just nine weeks! We’ll be following the Couch 2 5k programme, which you can download onto your phone - see here: Get running with Couch to 5K - NHS The programme suggests you run 3 times a week and we’re here to help you complete one of these weekly runs.
This is a beginner’s running group, so don’t worry if you’ve never ran before- this is the place to start! Make sure you wear trainers and comfortable clothes. You will be required to fill in a medical form before joining the group. Please collect this from the SU office. Once registered to the group we'll add you to a Teams chat group to let you know when and where we meet and any other info we need to share. The group is facilitated by Sophia who is a qualified Leader in Running Fitness.
