Dudley's nomination showed that effective officer teams don't have to have shared experiences or shared political views to be hugely effective and to put students at the heart of their work. The panel really loved the honesty in sharing how they came together and worked through their objectives for the year; how they have respected each other's views and how they then organised themselves to deliver on some projects that have had a real impact on their students; particularly around mental health and sexual health services. They have used their team's diversity to harness great change for their members!
