Buy Before You Board on West Midlands Metro

From 13 September 2026, Buy Before You Board (BBYB) is in place across the West Midlands Metro network.

Students travelling by tram must have a valid pass before they board.

Revenue Officers are now checking tickets and passes across the network.

Anyone without a valid pass could receive a £100 Penalty Fare.
