Dudley Students' Union are delighted Kaynat Ahmad was awarded Highly Commended in the Student Governor of the Year Awards announced 25th June at Gov Fest 2026.
There was a significant number of high-quality nominations this year, with a strong shortlist, three Highly Commended recipients, and one overall Student Governor of the Year. To be recognised at this level within such an outstanding field is a considerable achievement.
This is an excellent reflection of Kaynat’s contribution as a student governor and epitomises the importance of student voice in the Further Education sector.
