Aims of the Post:

• Support the SU President in delivering on strategic objectives.
• Represent the SU President and the Union in meetings and events if the President is unable and assist in delivering on projects/initiatives the SU is undertaking.
• The Vice President will shadow and learn from the SU President (mentor-mentee).
• Take responsibility for ensuring team spirit in the SU Leadership Team, fostering a connected and inclusive culture.

Biography:

My name is Simka Rifai, and I am proud to serve as the Vice President of Campaign and a Student Governor at Dudley College. I am a positive, determined, and globally minded leader who is committed to supporting every student and making sure every voice is heard. My leadership journey began as a prefect and a Student Governor at my School in Sri Lanka. Through supporting a friend with a learning disability experience that shaped my patience, compassion, and belief in inclusion.
